I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Memphis. My research interests lie at the intersection of economic growth, economic development, and public finance. In my current research I seek to understand the interaction between firms and governments in open economies, the movement of factors of production and ideas within and across borders, and how policies affect such flows. More generally, I am interested in the broadly defined area of applied macroeconomics.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2014.
